Swedish Clearance – Basic Course
The regular Swedish course “Friklassning – Grund” but in an English version.
In this course, we review the clearance regulation SSMFS 2018:3 and what it entails for various clearance activities. The course covers the clearance of materials, building structures, and areas in an overarching manner.
Course Objectives
The goal of the course is to provide a basic understanding and knowledge of:
- The regulations governing the clearance process
- Clearance levels
- Measurement methodology in clearance contexts
- The importance of nuclide vectors for clearance
- Quality assurance
Target groups
Individuals with experience in the nuclear industry who either:
- Work with the clearance of materials, building structures, or areas
- Have a specific technical interest in the above issues
Prerequisities
- More than 6 months of experience in the nuclear industry
- For the role of Measurer - Helth physics category C
- For the role of Evaluator - Helth physics category B
